Roy Davis – Motion Analysis Laboratory, Shriners Hospital for Children, Greenville, South Carolina
Dr. Davis is currently Director of the Motion Analysis Laboratory at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Greenville, South Carolina, USA and an Adjunct Professor of Bioengineering at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, USA. Formerly, he was the Director of the Motion Analysis Laboratory at Newington Children’s Hospital, Newington, Connecticut and at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Hartford, Connecticut. While in Connecticut, he was a Professor of Engineering at Trinity College and a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Professor Davis earned his doctorate in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1983. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a Lifetime Member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. Roy is a charter member of the Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society and served as its first President.

Eva Broström– The Motion Analysis Laboratory, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden
Dr. Broström is currently Head of the Motion Laboratory at Astrid Lindgrens Barnsjukhus, Karolinska University Hospital, Solna. Dr. Broström had her degree on Physical Therapy on the Karolinska Institutet (1993) and PhD-thesis, Medicine doktorsexamen, on Karolinska Institutet (2004). Dr. Broström developed a six months period of Post doctoral activities (2008/2009) in the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School Boston. This year Dr. Broström reached the position of Associate Professor.

Ronaldo Gabriel – Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD), Vila Real, Portugal
Dr. Gabriel is Associate Professor of the Department of Sports Sciences, Exercise and Health at UTAD and Member of the Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-environmental Biological Sciences (CITAB). Dr. Gabriel Educates in UTAD since 1990 on several undergraduate and graduate curricula related with Biomechanics. His research interests focus on biomechanics of joint stability with particular emphasis on human locomotion lower limb joint stability. Actually, include the transfer of knowledge to the open air walking activities as a healthy activity adapted to performer’s ages, special in seniors groups. He is member of the Portuguese Society of Biomechanics, the European Society of Biomechanics, the International Society of Biomechanics, and the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports.

Aurélio Faria – Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), Covilhã, Portugal
Aurélio Faria studied sport science at the University of Beira Interior (UBI) and received his PhD from the same University in 2010 with emphasis in biomechanics of human movement. Dr. Aurélio Faria is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport Science at the University of Beira Interior and an integrated member of the Research Centre in Sports, Health Sciences and Human Development (CIDESD). His actual research interests centre on biomechanics of the lower limb with particular emphasis on the biomechanical properties of muscle-tendon unit. He is a member of the Portuguese Society of Biomechanics and the European Society of Biomechanics.

João Abrantes – MovLab, Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (ULHT), Lisboa, Portugal
Dr. Abrantes is a Full Professor of ULHT, supervisor of MovLab’s biomechanics development and collaborator of different University Departments. Currently studies focus on the biomechanics variability of individuals motor patterns special related with biomechanics of joint stability approach. Actually is the project leader of the biomechanics methodologies applied to equines and is developing potential applications of biomechanical analysis data integration in Digital Animation.
