Based, basically, on Motion Capture and specifically focused on Digital Animation and Biomechanics methodologies (http://movlab.ulusofona.pt/cms/), MovLab is in Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, Lisbon, Portugal (http://www.ulusofona.pt/index.php/en/).
Every year, since 2009, we organize the “MovLab Spring School”, a two/three days meeting about a specific subject in the field of biomechanics interactions. The philosophy of MovLab Spring School is based on a smooth time for presentations and interface between lecturers and attendants (restricted to 30 registrations). Each work unit has sufficient time for presentation and interaction. After each work unit, we have a break (coffee or lunch). Work units can be theoretical or Laboratory facilities. In the Laboratory can be used our Vicon system synchronized with the force platform (AMTI) or the pressure plates (RsScan). If we prepare in advance we confirm the collaboration of my team.
To have an idea about the previous MovLab Spring School, I list the topics and the invited colleagues as well Movlab team. For forward details, please visit the websites:
